What's New Series

Written for the Young Violinists Program at Indiana University, The String Academy of Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the Peabody Preparatory Young People's String Program. The editors, Rebecca Henry and Mimi Zweig, gathered new compositions from both graduate composition students and established composers. Their favorites are presented in these collections. Some are novel, some are funny, and many are very beautiful. The difficulty levels range from the first-year to advanced. Mostly for 2-parts. Information is included for both the teacher and student. Contemporary notation is explained.
